Vegan Meat Loaf

Savory Lentil Meatloaf This meatloaf has become our family favorite out of all the vegan meatloaves we have tried. It is very simple to assemble. Some recipes have an inordinate amount of chopping and prep work, but not this one. The only real prep work required is cooking the lentils beforehand. I enjoy having cooked … Continue reading Vegan Meat Loaf →

Veggie Barley Soup

Veggie Barley Soup This is a soup I have come to love. Before heading down this heart healthy path, I could count on one hand the number of times I had used barley. I think both of those times it was for a soup and I only purchased what I needed for that particular day. … Continue reading Veggie Barley Soup →

It’s all about the foods you choose to fuel your body with. What portion of your daily intake consists of fruits and vegetables? What portion is considered processed? How many prescription medicines are you taking? Is this your year to work on ditching some of those? Always work with your doctor toward that goal, don’t be resigned to the idea that with age comes weight and meds. 🌱💪🏼
Day 1 of @freshlife 21 days of prayer and fasting using the Daniel plan.
@pfchangs has awesome vegan options! Did you know you can substitute tofu for animal based protein in most of their entrees? The Mongolian beef with marinaded tofu in place of beef was amazing! An option for vegan January! Will you be partaking in a healthier 2021? 75% of your health is based on what you put in your mouth. 🌱💪🏼

Hey heart healthy friends! We stopped in to @snook_haven yesterday and tried out their veggie burger. I think this may be the best veggie burger ever! Yes, I have a preference for house made burgers, which this definitely was. It was so delicious I can’t even tell you exactly what was in it. Green pepper, rice, eggplant, kidney beans, red onion?? And much more? So filing, it turned into a one meal kind of day! Enjoy every day! Take care of your heart, it’s the only one you have! 🌱💪🏼
Hey heart healthy friends! I love these @kashi blueberry waffles. They are a quick and easy breakfast treat. I pop them in the toaster, usually two times to get them to my desired level of crispy. A bit of maple syrup and some fresh blueberries and they are ready to be enjoyed. Yes! They are vegan! It says so on the back of the box! Enjoy! 🌱💪🏼
